Progress.

After ripping out 10-20 rows at least 4 times, the Clapotis is well on its way.  Pictures and further commentary are forthcoming, as soon as I a.) remember to put the batteries back in my camera, and b.) find a few moments to write a substantive post.

I’ve decided to do the Tour de France Knit Along–I came across it when I was looking for good yarn substitutes for the Clapotis. (I do NOT have $120 to spend on this project!) I don’t know much about cycling, but I just bought a new bike about a month and a half ago, and it’s a lot of fun to ride, plus it encourages me to get outside way more often than I would otherwise. But anyway, back to knitting. For the TDFKAL I will be knitting the Clapotis in a Cascade yarn–I don’t remember exactly which one it is, and I’m at work at the moment so I can’t check. But the important thing is that it’s purple (of course). :)
